If necessary, the health professional can refer you to a specialist. A psychologist/psychotherapist can help you if you are dealing with depression, living with HIV or have relationship problems.
Women can also go directly to a gynaecologist. For instance: for a pregnancy or vaginal infection.

- You can take someone you trust with you, so that he/she can help you.
It often seems difficult to talk about intimate topics with a health professional, but this is part of their job. They know these topics well. There is no need to feel embarrassed.
